What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? They are servants through whom you believed, as the Lord has assigned to each his role. I planted the seed and Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. He who plants and he who waters are one in purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labour. For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building.
1 Corinthians 3:5-9

One of the taglines for the Lighthouse is "building the church of tomorrow today" meaning that everyone regardless of age is part of the Lighthouse today. We know this very well in LightForce and BrightSparks where we don't just babysit the children but seek to build and encourage all the children to love Jesus and be active partners in what the church is doing not in their future but today.

It's a real blessing to see people like Hannah, Rhea, Faith and many others who have grown in the church serving the church. There are also countless others like Danny Marks who grew up in the Lighthouse now serving faithfully in other church families.

BUT a sign of a healthy church is seen in 1 Corinthians 3 and acknowledging that it is God Himself that brings growth to the seed that multiple people and ministries are caring for. Please pray that God continues to cause growth in our children's work and help us be faithful in the role of planters and waterers of the seed - Lightforce plants the seed, Klture Youth watered it BUT God made it grow.
