You don't have to lose.

Romans 8:31 - 39 says,

"So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose? If God didn't hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn't gladly and freely do for us? Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ's love for us? There is no way".

This is a timely and reassuring passage of the Bible for us to reflect upon and understand. As we step into this new year 2025, we're assured that God has already done His part to establish us in Him. God had secured us with His sacrificial love in action. What greater power could demonstrate such love?

With God on our side how can we lose? What are your aspirations, goals and desires in 2025? New year resolutions cannot sustain us all year, but the one thing that will sustain us is the power, dunamis that God already bestowed upon you. Only you can separate yourself from the love of God. The Bible clearly encourages us to ponder on this truth. Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ's love for us? There is no way. As long as you are aware of this and you don't allow anyone or anything to drive a wedge to separate you from God's love, you will win. As a family, as long as you have God on your side, you win. As a church, as long as we have God on our side we win.

Why struggle on your own for the breakthrough or victory and still lose, when you can win with God on your side.

With this in view, we constantly pray for you, that our God will count you worthy of your calling [to faith] and with [His] power fulfill every desire for goodness, and complete [your] every work of faith, so that the name of our Lord Jesus will be glorified in you [by what you do], and you in Him, according to the [precious] grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 AMP

To have God on your side, you have to be close to Him.

Come close to God [with a contrite heart] and He will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; and purify your [unfaithful] hearts, you double-minded [people].
James 4:8 AMP

You can win in 2025.

Pray for a fresh move of the Holy Spirit as we come closer to God.
Pray for dunamis power in the church and in our lives.
Pray for continued spiritual hunger and infilling of the Holy Spirit.
Pray for growth in the church, both numerically and spiritually.
