Embracing Our Mission

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Matthew 28:18-20

As we come to the end of this 21-day period of prayer and fasting, we find ourselves in a strengthened position to continue to be true disciples of God and especially ready to fulfil His commission: to preach the gospel and expand His Kingdom.

This may seem like an enormous task, and indeed it is. But Jesus promised that He would be with each of us always, even to the very end! This promise is our primary hope, foundation, and source of strength in times of difficulty.

Despite our diverse backgrounds, like different flowers in this beautiful and colourful field of tulips, let us unite in prayer for all the churches across Manchester. May they experience an awakening to God's Word, which in turn will draw people to God's love and His powerful work of salvation!

Let's also pray for the Message Trust and Festival Manchester. May these initiatives continue to thrive and be like blessing doors for many. May we be the people who give great testimony of our faith and are ready to complete with joy the great work our Father God has called and empowered us to do, all for the glory of JESUS name!
