As a people who have experienced the love of God it is natural for us to carry a burden for the people in our life who don't know him yet. Our friends, family, neighbours and colleagues are all placed in our lives for a reason.

Let's be persistent in prayer for them and be reminded of God's heart for them

"not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance" 2 Peter 3:9

Remember, our prayers are never in vain and they are rooted in scripture. Meditate on the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15 and trust that God will draw them back to his Love according to his time.

As we carry out the Great Commission we must strive to teach others to obey all that Jesus has commanded us, to make not just converts but disciples. Let's choose to walk alongside those who have made the decision for Christ, building them up and feeding them what's needed to ensure they have a faith that is steadfast.

Father, please bless every effort we make to reach the lost, through the Spirit give us the words to say and give us opportunities to share your love to produce fruit which will last for eternity.
